“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
Isaiah 61:1
Our Story
Life Challenge of Western North Carolina is a charitable, non-profit ministry for women with life-controlling addictions. Life Challenge is a Christian program which serves as a residential center for those seeking assistance in overcoming addiction.
We help women renew and transform their lives from the pain and destruction of their past through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We also serve as a referral center for men and adolescents.
Life Challenge of Western North Carolina is a faith-based ministry. We do not receive federal, state, or United Way monies.
Residential Treatment for Life-Controlling Problems
Our residential program is for ladies ages 18-39 and is 12 months in length. We provide treatment and counseling for those with life-controlling additions including but not limited to, substance abuse (drug & alcohol addiction), depression, and eating disorders.
Life Challenge of Western North Carolina was established to further the gospel of Jesus Christ by evangelizing individuals with life-controlling problems. Our prayer is that they will fully invest in our program that offers discipleship to the point where the student can function as a Christian in society, and to apply spiritually motivated biblical principles to relationships in the family, local church, chosen vocation and the community.
PLEASE DONATE
