Kristi
I’m 37 years old and have been battling addiction and running from God all of my adult life and the majority of my teen years as well. My whole world was in chaos and I’d lost everything; my home, my children, my family, my freedom, and myself. After being in and out of jail and overdosing this last time, I knew something had to change.
Coming to Life Challenge has been truly the biggest blessing I’ve ever had in my life. I now know what it is to actually have a relationship with Jesus Christ and to have peace that no one can take from you. I’m currently 14 months sober, and I graduate the program in March. Because of this ministry and Jesus, the relationships with my children are being restored and I’m becoming the woman and mother that God made me to be. I now have a wonderful relationship with my mother and have reconciled with my father after over a decade.
I have my family back, which I consider a miracle. I’m excited to graduate and actually live life, to have a job, and be going back to school and most importantly to be a mother to my children. I’m so thankful for all the amazing staff and volunteers that have taught me so much about Jesus and how to have a relationship with Him; as well as for the amazing women I was privileged to go through the program with, who are now my sisters for life. Getting to come back and volunteer here is one of the things I’m looking most forward to honestly, and I’m blessed to get that opportunity. I’m excited to see what God has planned for my future!
